By submitting your entry to the songwriting contest, you agree to the following terms and conditions: 1. Eligibility: You confirm that you are 18 years or older at the time of submission. 2. Originality: You affirm that your submission is an original work, with both lyrics and melody created by you. Any use of unauthorized samples or content will result in disqualification. 3. Submission Format: Submissions must be audio files in WAV or MP3 format, accompanied by a lyric chart. Incomplete submissions will not be considered. 4. Entry Fee: Each song submission requires a $25 entry fee. This fee is non-refundable. Payments can be submitted through Cash App, Venmo, or PayPal. You will receive directions on how to submit your payment after you complete this form via email and text. Payment should be submitted with 24 hours after 5. Submission Deadline: Entries must be submitted by December 31st at midnight. Late submissions will not be accepted. 6. Ownership: You retain full ownership of your song and master recording. By entering, you grant us the right to use your submission for promotional purposes related to the contest. 7. Judging Process: Submissions will be judged by a panel of three staff producers based on originality, style, lyric content, melody, and vibe. In the case of a tie, an outside producer will make the final decision. 8. Prizes: Winners will be awarded as outlined in the contest overview. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. 9. Release and Performance: If you are selected as the grand prize winner, you agree to participate in the release party and performance opportunities as specified. 10. Public Sharing: By submitting, you agree to allow your song to be played publicly on social media platforms and shared on YouTube for promotional purposes without additional compensation. 11. Promotion: We reserve the right to use your name, likeness, and submission for promotional and marketing purposes without additional compensation. 12. Disqualification: We reserve the right to disqualify any submission that does not comply with these terms or the contest rules, including any evidence of fraud, infringement, or other improper conduct.
